Will It Solictors was set up by Siobhan McCloskey in 2012. Siobhan graduated in law from the University of London and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. For the nine years prior to setting up Will It Solicitors she was a partner in Good & Murray Smith Solicitors in Dublin where she was responsible for their Private Client Department.

During that time she became a registered Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and was responsible for providing specialist advice in Wills, Probate and Estate Administration. She also advised elderly clients in relation to their general affairs and, in particular, in relation to the preparation of Enduring Powers of Attorney and their registration.

Her experience within the Trusts and Estates field ranges from Probate only applications for small estates right through to estate of varying degrees of complexity and value.

As the head of the Private Client Department she also developed a practice in Conveyancing, both commercial and residential and was responsible for advising one of the country’s largest Local Authorities on their responsibilities and powers under the Social and Affordable Provisions as provided for in the Planning and Development Acts, 2000-2002. She was instrumental in developing the templates used by Local Authorities throughout the country in the implementation of these provisions.

As a result of her conveyancing experience Siobhan is regularly retained to act as an expert conveyancing witness in Professional Negligence cases against solicitors.
